What we charge for our services
Translations are generally invoiced according to the number of lines or words translated. The invoice is based on the line/word count in the target language i.e. in the translated text. One standard line comprises 55 characters including spaces. The number of lines/words is determined by special counting software.
The respective line/word price depends on the language combination and on the difficulty or complexity of the material to be translated.
For documents containing lots of repetitive text segments, localization projects or updates of instruction manuals, we base our translation price on the number of source words. Our clients then only need to pay the full translation price for completely new translatable words.
We give special discounts for repetitive segments within your documents or phrases already present in our translation memory.
